List Of Poker Hands - Hand Ranks

Royal Flush

A straight from ten to Ace, and all cards are in one suit. All four suits are of equal value in poker games. This is the strongest card combination in the list of poker hands.

Straight Flush

Any sequence of cards, with all five cards of the same suit.

Four of a Kind

Any four cards in the same rank. If two or more gamblers have Four of a Kind hand, the fifth card’s or kicker value breaks the ties.

Full House

Any combination of three cards from one rank, with two cards of another rank.

Flush

Any five non-consecutive cards with one suit. The highest card denotes the rank of the Flush.

Straight

Any five consecutive cards with different suits. Aces can be low and high unless otherwise determined by poker rules.

Three of a Kind

Any three cards with the same value. When two or more players have Three of a Kind, the rest cards’ ranks is considered.

Two Pair

Two pairs of cards. Aces and Kings is the best Two Pair hand.

One Pair

Any two cards from one rank. The other cards are taken into account in case of two poker players having a pair with equal rank.

High Card

In case a hand does not have any of the other winning cards combinations, the strongest card is considered, then the next in the event of the tie. High Card is the weakest card combination in the list of poker hands.
